Used to direct attention to something particularly important. 

I.E means "that is", it's from the latin "id est" 

I like to eat vegetables (i.e. I enjoy their taste)

Me gusta comer vegetales (es decir, disfruto sus sabores)

E.G means "for example"
It's from the latin "exempli gratia"
I like to eat vegetables (e.g. carrots and broccoli)

Me gusta comer vegetales (por ejemplo zanahorias y brócoli.

FYU mean "For your understanding" (para su conocimiento)

Used for advertisement, letters or messages.
